In September 2004 after 2 years of fundraising and a further 3 years of searching through France, Italy, Portugal and Spain we finally purchased a large piece of land. The property which has several buildings is an auspicious 108 hectares (270 acres) and is in Aragon in the north east Spain. The region is remote and isolated and the land itself is wild and beautiful. It is perfect for our purposes.

Since the purchase we have restored one smaller building for the use of a community to live in. Currently the community of 3 women are finishing work on the community house and overseeing converting the ramshackle traditional farm buildings into a retreat centre with a separate Shrine Room – Akashavana.

Our first Ordination retreat of 3 months duration was held between April and July 2007.
